What has happened recently:
Edgewater Road users might notice a bright addition to the intersection with Wallace Road. The bicycle lane was recently re-marked in bright green to highlight the bicycle lane and crossing over Edgewater. This now serves to better match the improvements done a few months ago at the intersection by ODOT as part of the Wallace Road project.
While no definite schedule has been set, we look forward to the City’s Transportation System Plan update which should begin sometime early next year.
What we are working on:
Evaluating speed zoning along Edgewater from Highway 22 to Eola to see if we should support asking for a speed study with the aim of reducing speeds along this section.
